Nathan put up 137.5 on the five-time champs. Gibbs and Swift did most of it. Mcfussdaddy left a quarterback on the bench and went home 0–1.

Nathan scored 137.5 on Monday, which is the kind of number you usually only see when someone in this league forgets to set a lineup. He set one. Jahmyr Gibbs went for 28.6, D’Andre Swift for 31.4, and the Steelers defense for 19. Dak was just Dak. By the time it was over, Mcfussdaddy’s 5x Champs had lost by 45.
It wasn’t as if the champs got nothing. Burrow was fine. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 18.2, Javonte Williams 19.2. The problem was everything around them: Titans defense at minus-one, Tyler Shough sitting on the bench with 23.2, a 92.26 that looked worse the longer you stared at it. JC was probably already writing the text about next week.
I mean, two running backs just did that to a five-time champion. What am I supposed to say.
Everybody else
Thomas put up 123, which is what happens when the Dozers remember they have a roster. Morgan beat Hefner by 1.78 and will be insufferable about it in the group chat until Thursday. John Mitchell dropped 105 on Devyn, who finished at 68 and is going to hear about the zeros all week. Holden beat Lucas, because of course he did. Greer lost to Thomas and still looks like the team you’d least like to see in November, which is a sentence I have written about him more than once.
Nathan streamed a kicker, started the Steelers, and didn’t get cute. The Delinquents are 1–0. It’s Week 1, so nobody should carve anything in stone, but 137.5 is a pretty loud way to open.
