Jackson County chase, mom in the way, coach driving him back to jail
Police said he hit 100 through downtown Commerce, where the limit is 25. Georgia cut him after.
Jackson County says Nyier Daniels drove more than 100 mph through downtown Commerce, posted 25. Officers had just stopped his mother for a stop sign when he blew past them. She caught up and, police said, blocked the cop car so he could keep going.
The chase spilled onto I-85. They lost him near mile marker 144 and called it off. A UGA football coach later drove him back in the same car and made him turn himself in.
Charges included reckless driving, fleeing, and running stop signs. The program dismissed him. FOX 5 Atlanta has the original report. We don’t run the same Dawg twice.
