Still talking about Hefner losing by 1.78.
Hefner lost by 1.78 with Derrick Henry (34.3), Jonathan Taylor (22.1), and Amon-Ra St. Brown (18.7) in the lineup. Bryce Young had 31.44 on the bench. Lamar had 24.96 on the bench. I’ve been sitting with that for a couple hours and I still don’t like it. That’s a 113-point team that should have been 1–0.
Morgan won it with Jaxson Dart (26.6) and Christian Watson (26.7) and Chris Olave (18.2). Chargers defense: 0. Colston Loveland: 0. He’ll say he coached it. He streamed two guys who got hot. Hefner had Henry. I know which side I thought was going to win when I sat down.
Ugly 1–0 still counts. I’m not giving it back.
Both of them started the wrong quarterback, for what that’s worth. Only one of them has to think about it until Friday.
