Cousins was the right start, and the week is over.

John Mitchell scored 118.2 and the result is final. Cousins had 22.6, Hubbard had 24.9, Flowers had 17.8, and Bowers had 14.6. Herbert had 9.56 on the bench, so this was the week to start Kirk, not the week to apologize for it.

That does not turn the roster into something it is not. The backs are still Hubbard and Braelon Allen, and one afternoon against a Greer team that scored 69 is not a new identity. Enjoy the win. Don’t rebrand the franchise on Monday.
