Fuss took Nico off a roster that was already done.
Smith and Addison were not beating JSN for a job. The seconds are three years away.

Still writes like Mcfussdaddy has the chair. Holden’s a closed subject.

Tuesday’s deal got lost under everything Lucas did after it, and it should not have. Fuss sent DeVonta Smith, Jordan Addison, his own 2029 second, and Devyn’s 2029 second to Lucas, and Nico Collins came back. Fuss is 6–1. He already has JSN, who has 138 points, and Puka. He did not have a hole. He had a 0–7 willing to move a name, and he took it.
Nico has 52 points, and the line is the lumpy kind. Fourteen, then two weeks of nothing, then 24, then a handful. Smith has 43 and Addison has 25, and neither of them was going to take a job from JSN on a Tuesday in October. Sending them is not sending the season. The seconds are the real departure, and they are not due until 2029. His own figures to be late if the next two years look anything like this one. Devyn’s is the one with a pulse, because Devyn is 1–6. That is a real chip. It is not a chip that helps anybody in week 8.
The rest of Lucas’s week makes the trade look smaller than it was and more obvious than it felt on Tuesday morning. Nico was the first player off a roster that still had Love, Jeanty, and McConkey on it. By Friday all three of those were gone too. Fuss did not have to see the rest of it to know a 0–7’s good receiver was available. He plays Mitchell this week. Nico does not have to save that game. He just has to be one more receiver on a team that already scores.
