Fuss finished at 173.5, and that is the high score of the week for the fourth time in a row. He went into Monday night at 131, about seven points behind Greer, with Puka and James Cook still to play. Puka had 20.7 and Cook had 21.8. Warren had already put up 30.8 on Sunday. So the seven-point gap turned into a week that Greer, finished at 138.1, was not going to catch once the night got going. Hefner was done at 113 before kickoff, which means the win was already his. Monday was about the number.
Nobody in a regular season since 2019 had led the league in scoring four weeks running. Thomas did three in 2021, and those weeks were comfortable. Fuss himself did three in 2022, and two of those were about a point. This one is not a squeaker. 173.5 is also the third-best regular-season week on that tape. Lucas had 178 in 2019, and Nathan had 177 in 2024. Fuss is 4–1, and he has 712 points, which is the most in the league.
Four teams are 4–1, so the standings do not really show what the week was. The points do. Week 6 is Morgan, who just lost 101 to 138 and will be looking at a roster that has spent a month doing this.
