Still talking about Hefner losing by 1.78.
The standings have caught up, and Drake Maye’s 39.46 is sitting next to a 1–4. Hefner finished at 113.26. Fuss finished at 173.5. Lamar is out with the ankle, Saquon is out, and A.J. Brown is on IR, so Maye was the start because the other quarterback could not go. He went. Henry had 20 and Taylor had 8.2, which is a quiet week for the reason this roster is still taken seriously. The quarterback finally had his Sunday, and the week still was not close.
You do not bench the 39 because the backs had an off week. Week 6 is Greer, who just scored 138.1 and got his first win of the year, with Chase and Jefferson both actually playing. That is a different problem than the one Hefner just lost. The record is hard to look at. The lineup that got him the 39 is still the lineup.
