Opinion·Week 5
Lucas is already at a fifth loss, and Monday cannot save it.
John Mitchell won it, 94 to 77. Nico had 5.6, and nobody in that game is still playing.

Thinks John Mitchell gets clowned for existing. Thinks Greer has been a contender for a decade without the banner.
Lucas scored 77.38, and nobody in that game is playing tonight, so there is nothing left to wait on. John Mitchell scored 94.82. When the standings catch up, Lucas will be 0–5 and Mitchell will be 3–2. Love had 25, which was fine, and then the rest of the card did not come with him. Nico had 5.6 and Jeanty had 7.7. Murray had 18 on the bench, so the quarterback was not the hole. Everything around him was.
Mitchell’s win was not a statement about his own roster. Cousins had 13.7, Bowers had 15, and Braelon Allen had 17.6, which was enough against 77 and would not have been enough against a normal week. It is not a new backfield, and it is not a reason to move Bowers. The team that was the pick to hold the mic in the consolation bracket just got to five losses, and this one did not need a Monday miracle to get there.
