Opinion·Thursday outlook

Greer is starting two players who have the week off.

Chase and Jefferson are on the bench, which is right. Jameson Williams and Ollie Gordon are in the lineup anyway.

Still writes like Mcfussdaddy has the chair. Holden’s a closed subject.

Cincinnati, Detroit, Miami, and Minnesota are all off this week, and a couple of lineups have not caught up to that. Greer just had the week the roster was built for. Chase and Jefferson both played, and the team scored 138. This week both of them are on a bye, so they belong on the bench, and that is where they are. The problem is who went in for them. Jameson Williams is a Lion, and Ollie Gordon is a Dolphin, and neither of those teams plays. Both of them are starting. That is two zeros before anyone kicks off tonight.

Hefner is the opponent, and he has one of the same holes. Amon-Ra is in the lineup, and Detroit does not play. Deebo is out on top of that, so the receiver room is a Lion who is off and a 49er who cannot go. Maye, Henry, and Taylor all have games, which is still the reason that roster is taken seriously. Greer still has Rodgers, McCaffrey, and the Rams defense, and Rice and Diggs are in there if they actually suit up. Both teams are 1–4. One of them is spotting the other two starters, and the other is spotting one. The week has not started. The lineup already has.

Everybody else sat their bye guys. Nathan has Gibbs on the bench. Holden moved off Goff and LaPorta. Devyn sat Burrow, which he had to, and started Daniels. The mistake is not the bye. The bye is on the schedule. The mistake is leaving the player in.
