Opinion·Week 8

The two 6–1s do not get the same kind of week.

Fuss draws Mitchell. Nathan draws the team that just led the league.

Still writes like Mcfussdaddy has the chair. Holden’s a closed subject.

Week 8 is not a holiday. Fuss plays John Mitchell, who just scored 65 with the new roster and still has Henry to sort out. Nathan plays Greer, who just put up 137 and is 3–4. Those are different jobs. One is a favorite against a team that had a bad Sunday. The other is a favorite against the only team that outscored him this week.

Holden plays Thomas. Both are 5–2, they are in different divisions, and neither one had a week he wants to show anyone. Thomas lost to the roster that sold. Holden scored 54. The freeze means only one of them can do anything about the roster before Sunday, and the deadline for the rest of the league is still the Thursday after week 10.

The other two games are the bottom of the standings finding each other, and the West’s second seed getting a winless team. Hefner plays Devyn, 2–5 against 1–6. Devyn just scored 115 and lost to Fuss. Hefner just scored 118 and beat Thomas. That one can actually be close, which has not been true of either of them for a while. Morgan plays Lucas. Lucas is 0–7. Morgan just won with 77. Nobody needs that one explained twice.
